Scan.com is the UK’s largest diagnostic imaging platform, with a mission to make medical imaging accessible for everyone. It offers an appointment booking engine for patients, a portal for referring providers, and an API for digital health partners, across the UK and the USA. Scan.com streamlines imaging from end to end, connects patients and providers, and reduces waiting times to improve patient care outcomes.

Scan.com was co-founded in 2017 by two clinicians, Jasper Nissim (D.O.) and Dr Khalid Latief (consultant radiologist), who experienced inefficiencies when trying to organise diagnostics for their patients. Teaming up with CEO Charlie Bullock and COO Oliver Knight, they created an automated alternative – an online platform where patients could find and book scans.

It began as National MRI Scan, and became the UK’s largest diagnostic imaging platform connecting patients with the imaging they need, with no waiting lists or lengthy administrative processes. Since then, National MRI Scan has rebranded to Scan.com, launched CT, Ultrasound and pregnancy scans, and shipped their diagnostics-as-a-service solution to the USA. They have recently closed a $12m Series A funding round.

An innovative referral portal and API for B2B users is also available for clinicians, doctors, therapists and lawyers to connect their patients and clients with imaging centres they can trust, while cutting admin time in half. They can now also accept referrals for patients with private medical insurance in Manchester, London and the South East thanks to the launch of an insurance pilot.
